Ajman Launches Real Estate Business Incubator to Support Emerging Entrepreneurs and Drive Sector Growth cover

Ajman has officially launched the Ajman real estate business incubator, a strategic initiative aimed at empowering emerging entrepreneurs in the UAE real estate sector. Developed by the Ajman Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in partnership with the New Economy Academy, this incubator is designed to nurture startups, qualify brokers, and drive innovation in Ajman’s growing property market.

Ajman Real Estate Business Incubator: Objectives & Scale

The Ajman real estate business incubator is set to qualify, license, and support 200 real estate brokers over the next five years, with an initial group of 40 participants. These participants will receive mentorship, resources, and specialized training to help them launch their own successful real estate ventures.

Key objectives include:

  1. Talent development — providing entrepreneurs with technical, financial, and regulatory knowledge.
  2. Regulatory alignment — ensuring startups operate within UAE’s legal frameworks.
  3. Innovation support — encouraging digital tools, AI-driven marketing, and modern real estate practices.

Programme Design & Support

The incubator operates on a six-month cycle divided into four stages: candidate selection, training, mentorship, and evaluation. Training covers real estate fundamentals, financial planning, business setup, digital marketing, and AI integration.

After training, participants will enter a two-month mentorship phase where they apply their skills in real projects under industry expert guidance. The final evaluation stage ensures that only qualified startups advance, with ongoing support provided for long-term success.

Importantly, the initiative offers free participation for Emirati entrepreneurs, reflecting the UAE’s commitment to supporting national talent.

Broader Impact on UAE Real Estate Startups

By developing homegrown expertise, the Ajman real estate business incubator aims to:

  • Strengthen Emirati participation in property brokerage and investment
  • Attract new capital into Ajman’s property sector
  • Promote sustainable, innovation-driven growth
  • Position Ajman as a hub for UAE real estate startups

Speaking at the launch, Eng. Omar bin Omair Al Muhairi, Director General of Ajman’s Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation, called the incubator a “strategic initiative to advance the emirate’s real estate sector.” Dr. Laila Faridoon, CEO of the New Economy Academy, emphasized the incubator’s role in promoting digital leadership and entrepreneurship in property markets.

This initiative aligns with the UAE’s wider national campaign, The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World, reinforcing the country’s position as a global hub for entrepreneurship.

The Ajman real estate business incubator represents a major step toward fostering innovation and talent in the property sector. By empowering startups, training brokers, and integrating digital innovation, the initiative is set to boost Ajman’s role in shaping the future of UAE real estate.
